Fall is upon us, which means it is time to get out and explore the countryside to enjoy the annual color show that forests across America put on this time of year. Sleepy Bear Cabins is close to Echo Bluff State Park, Current River State Park and the Ozark National Scenic Riverways with its historic sites and springs. Sleepy Bear Cabins offers an ideal venue for your family float trip, a romantic weekend for two, or anything in between. Situated in woods, surrounded by the Ozark hill country, sit two fully furnished 1 bedroom cabins that can sleep up to 4 people, and one fully furnished 5 bedroom house that can sleep up to 12 people.
These are available for nightly rental from April 1 through November 30. Cabins each have fully equipped kitchens, including crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, a microwave, coffee maker and toaster. Air conditioning / gas or electric heating, DirecTV service with HD TVs, free WiFi, all bed, bath and kitchen linens, dinnerware, cookware, coffeemaker and filters, toaster, refrigerator, stove with oven, microwave are all standard. Cabins sleep two to twelve guests depending upon floor plan available. No pets.
Bring your own food and drink. Linens, soap, body wash and towels are provided. Cell service out here can be very spotty, although we have installed cell booster technology. WiFi is cell based, so it can also be variable but is available. BBQ grills (bring your own charcoal) are provided as well as a fire pit and picnic tables for your outside enjoyment.
Shuttle service and float/canoe pickup and drop off can be arranged. Fees for these services are not the responsibility of SBC but must be negotiated and paid to the vendor.
